Bible Book Study | Fall and Winter 2019-20
This year, we’re reading “the Bible’s greatest hits” one small segment at a time — approximately 26 stories in all — from The Path: Journey Through the Bible, edited by Melody Wilson Shobe and David Creech, an award-winning Episcopal curriculum. We’ll study Creation, Abraham, Joseph, Exodus, Jericho, Judges, Samuel, David, Solomon, Isaiah, and more! This class is really helpful for those new to the church who want a grip on our beliefs and for those who want a refresher. Each week will be independent from the other weeks, so jumping in and out of town won’t be an issue! Come when you can to get an overview of the Bible and, for those more advanced, read additional scholarly commentary on the side for a new perspective on the texts. For more info, contact the Rev. Kelly Steele, at 912.598.7242.
